Stunning Hall Cottage, near York and Leeds

Positive: The location is beautiful as is the grounds & bedrooms are befitting to the period property. Quiet for a relaxing stay. Kitchen has a good size table & there is cooking utensils, an oven, fridge & microwave. Negative: Stains to the carpets, lino & bedding. The property needs better attention to cleaning to be upto standard, regardless of the price point. A book would be helpful to give information to guests about local area, facilities, disposing of waste etc. Wifi code is barely readable on box. No cleaning cloths for washing up or additonal pillows & fans as 27c on a night would be helpful. Tennis rackets & balls to use the court would have been good to use the court itself.

Enjoyable stay, perfect location and outstanding old property Positive: On arrival on the kitchen table were 1x large uncut tiger loaf x6 eggs , a jar of jam, Tea, coffee and sugar. In the refrigerator there was Butter and Milk Negative: The property was beautiful with beautiful gardens.

5 star stay Positive: My 2nd stay at the property and, once again, it exceeded my requirements and expectations. Everything was 5 star and Edward is perfect host. Most definitely recommend this property. Negative: Nothing - everything was great

Fabulous stay Positive: Absolutely fabulous stay. Edward was a super host. The property is very clean and well appointed. The kitchen lacks nothing. Good Internet. Easy parking. The walled garden is very peaceful and great for al fresco dining. Easy to get provisions from Tadcaster. The hospitality is 5 star and I'll certainly stay again if in the area. Negative: Nothing. Everything was great
